Day One: AI and
Policing Fundamentals:
The first day of this program gives law enforcement professionals a clear and practical foundation for understanding and responsibly implementing artificial intelligence in their agencies. Day one focuses on the strategic side of AI in policing, including real research on report writing and body-worn camera analysis, legal and ethical considerations, and how to evaluate tools, develop policies, and plan pilot projects.
Day
Two: AI Augmented Criminal
Investigations:
This
practical, hands-on course shows investigators how artificial intelligence can
support criminal investigations from case intake through prosecution.
Participants will learn how to use AI to organize large case files, develop
timelines, summarize interviews, identify connections between people and
events, generate investigative leads, prepare for interviews, track case
progress, and review investigations for missing steps or weaknesses.
The
course follows a realistic case from beginning to end and includes
demonstrations of secure AI workspaces, local language models, facial
recognition, automated license plate readers, NIBIN, digital evidence tools,
link analysis, and other technologies already being used in law enforcement. Emphasis is placed on using AI legally,
ethically, securely, and responsibly, with investigators retaining control over
all decisions and verifying every AI-generated output.
